This dress is so wonderfully comfortable! I can’t wait to wear it for my next long-haul roadtrip, plus since it’s lycra I won’t be worrying about wrinkles. Perfect project!

teal corduroy jumper
I’ve had lots of fun playing in this dress! It’s comfortable, my favorite color, reasonably trendy, plus the pockets are the perfect size for beer bottles.
I’ve had this fabric in my stash for years and didn’t know what to do with it until I saw Plummy’s jumper. I was a little uncertain about wearing a jumper, but it works with long and short sleeve shirts and possibly even with no shirt at all. I’ll hold that discovery until it’s a little less wintery in Los Angeles.

I LOVE this blouse! This is the first time I’ve cut a garment on the bias. I drafted the pattern myself, the only way I make things nowadays. When I did the neckline and the hem I was somewhere in the lovely grey area between tipsy and drunk, so that’s my favorite part. Gots to have my rum.
