I’ve always loved the colorful market baskets sold at certain expensive stores for way more money than I can justify spending, but I recently realized that I could make my own using the same technique as the coiled fabric bowls.

COVERED BIKE LOCK
Back in March I got a new Kryptonite U-lock for my bicycle. It’s long enough that I can lock up two bikes without any problems and it’s great that I don’t have to worry about if my bike will still be where I left it. However, my ride is about combining form and function, and I knew I had to do something to spice up my lock.

I recently got a twist shifter for my three speed. This is extremely awesome and I love shifting gears constantly now, but the vintage grip didn't quite match my newer one. Admittedly, it wasn't a huge difference, but it was bugging me and I knew I could do something fabulous.First off, welcome to the new site! My custom grip shifter is made out of cork paper that is painted and hot glued on. For the other side I also used craft foam. All of these supplies can be easily found at a craft store.
